Author Guidelines

Submissions must be original, lawful, within scope and not under consideration elsewhere. Authors must provide an anonymized review manuscript and complete contributor metadata separately in OJS.

Required manuscript elements

  • Concise title, structured abstract, keywords and a clear contribution statement.
  • Methods, data sources, evaluation design, limitations and threats to validity described in enough detail for critical assessment.
  • Funding, CRediT contribution, competing-interest, ethics, consent, data/code availability and material AI-assistance declarations.
  • Persistent citations for datasets, software, standards and prior research when available.

Double-anonymous preparation

Remove names, affiliations, acknowledgements, grant identifiers and self-identifying links from review files and document metadata. Submit the identifying title page separately. Use neutral self-citation language without weakening reproducibility.

Responsible security research

Do not include live credentials, unnecessary personal data, weaponized exploit material or disclosure that creates disproportionate risk. Explain coordinated-disclosure status and any proportionate redactions.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Every submission must satisfy the following requirements.

  • The manuscript is original, within scope and not under review elsewhere.
  • The review files are anonymized, including document properties, comments and tracked changes.
  • All authors approved the submission, authorship order and contributor declarations.
  • Funding, competing interests, ethics approval or exemption, consent, data/code availability and material AI assistance are disclosed where applicable.
  • References are complete and include persistent identifiers when available.
  • Figures, tables, datasets, code and third-party materials may lawfully be reviewed and published.
  • Potential dual-use or coordinated-disclosure risks are explained to the editor.
  • The corresponding author has read the journal policies, CC BY 4.0 terms and USD 1,200 post-acceptance APC policy.
